Been on Break From FFXIV? Don’t Miss Extra Sub Time with the Free Login Campaign!

Don't miss out on four days of free time.

Whether you haven’t been feeling the latest expansion, or you’re looking to save some extra cash, you might have let your FFXIV subscription expire. But with the arrival of the Arcadion Heavyweight Tier, the Hell on Rails trial, and the upcoming variant dungeon, and the next step of the Phantom Weapons quest, it’s a good time to get back in the game. And Square Enix is making it even easier with a Free Login Campaign.

The campaign runs from now until Monday, February 9 at 6:59 AM (PST). Here’s everything you need to know to get your free playtime:

See patch 7.4's new content with FFXIV's free login campaign.

Eligibility

If you want to participate in the login campaign, you’ll first one to check the eligibility requirements. From the special site:

  1. Have previously purchased and registered FINAL FANTASY XIV.
  2. All registered service accounts must be set as inactive during the campaign period.
  3. Registered service account must have been inactive for at least thirty days.

The long and the short: if you’re an XIV player who hasn’t logged in, or your subscription lapsed in the last 30 days, you’re eligible for the period. This does not apply to players who have an active account tied to their Square Enix account (even if they have multiple inactive accounts), or have an account suspended for violating the game’s terms of service. Hope you haven’t been using mods.

How to Redeem Your Playtime

If you meet the above requirements, all you need to do is log in to the launcher and you’re set! The free period lasts four days from when you first log in to 11:59 PM (PST) on the fourth day. Afterwards you will need to renew your subscription to keep playing.

If you renew your subscription during the login period, you will lose the rest of the free login period.
