If you haven’t claimed your free Fantasia in Final Fantasy XIV yet, now’s your final warning-time is running out. The limited-time Fantasia added back in Patch 7.2 will no longer be available once Patch 7.3 launches on August 5th. That means you’ve got just one more week to grab it before it disappears for good.
This Fantasia gives you the opportunity to completely overhaul your character’s appearance-including race and gender-without spending real money in the Mog Station. Until recently, it wasn’t often Square Enix gave these out for free, so don’t let it go to waste.
Where to Get the Free Fantasia?
To pick up your free Fantasia, head over to Old Gridania and seek out the Wandering Moogle near Jonathas at Apkallu Falls. This area is close to the Lancers’ Guild via aethernet or Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre. Speak with the Moogle to complete the “quest”, and he’ll reward you with a bottle of Fantasia. It’s a quick and easy claim, but it will vanish with the launch of 7.3 next Tuesday.

Will Another Fantasia Be Added in Patch 7.3?
While nothing has been confirmed just yet, there’s a good chance Square Enix could offer another Fantasia in Patch 7.3 or a future update. One of the major features in the upcoming patch as showcased in a recent PLL is expanded headgear support for Hrothgar and Viera. Finally, allowing many more hats and helmets to display properly on those races.

With more customization options becoming available, it wouldn’t be surprising if the developers tossed in another Fantasia to let players take advantage of the new hat choices. Until that’s confirmed, though, make sure you grab the one that’s available right now before it’s too late.
