I'm wondering how to properly use Fury of the Eagle after the opener. I read that it should only be used when you only have 6 stacks of Mongoose Fury. The problem is that there are times that I can only get around 4-5 on average while FotE is up and the stacks are about to fall off. Do I really not use it until I get 6, or should I use it on CD with whatever stacks I have? What takes more priority here?

I think the point is to generally use it when you're at 6 or when your buff is almost gone (thereby extending the duration through the cast, but without taking away the potential to cast more mongoose bites). I'm not sure where it's priority lies though, and that could honestly change based on how many stacks you have

Agreed. That was basically how I saw it. When you have 6, it's amazing and a huge priority, but below 6 stacks, I imagine the priority must vary a lot, also depending on what the next 45 seconds of the fight will hold.

Hey, quick question about potions...

Should I use Deadly grace or Old War during encounters? Can't really decide which one is the best.

Old war for sure. Deadly grace doesn't last as long if you're up close. Old war is designed specifically for melee

What do you mean?

The opener is only for the start of the fight, as your group pulls the boss. As soon as you finish the opener sequence, you use the Single Target one.

The opening sequence is meant to be followed in the order 1 - 2 - 3 etc.

The rotation is a priority rotation, in which you go down the list until you can do one of those things. If you can't do 1, you do 2. If you can't do 1 or 2, you do 3. If you can't do 1,2,3, you do 4.

I've tried it and it doesn't work at all!

The two soldiers just spawn and then run away without doing any damage. I'll stick to Grace until it's fixed.

Something to mention...I notice how this build doesn't emphasize Flanking attack or Animal instincts, If you make Flanking attack your 2nd priority to mongoose bite I have noticed a dps increase. With flanking attack in the rotation the buff it gives will be a permanent +3.33% mastery/haste and a 6.66% move speed. Also the attack that it does doubles the effect chance on hunting companion so it stacks mongoose bite faster. plus the pet haste/mastery is also beneficial for stacking mongoose bite.

Hello guys. I'm not entirely sure if it is because of the flanking strike buff we received a few weeks ago, but it seems to me that animal instincts is giving a higher dps than throwing axes. I've tried a few fights with it and my dps has gotten 10-20k higher than with the usage of TA. It also makes the rotation feels a little more fluid than with TA (sometimes you will get both 10% haste and mastery at the same time for like 3 seconds, thats amazing!). Have any1 else noticed the same?

Thanks in advance.

For MM content is it better to stick to the +375 versatility food or to get the 200 agility bonus from the Lavish Suramar Feast?

What do you mean by MM content?

For the comments concerning Flanking Strike, could you show a log of your testing of FS, as well as your use of the Throwing Axes and how it performed for you previously?

Animal Instincts still sims below Throwing Axes at the moment. The guide was updated a while ago to push Flanking Strike on cooldown to a higher priority given the damage buff. I might do more sims to figure out if prioritizing it even higher (like above Throwing Axes) is a better choice.

I have one very important question...there is a cap for stats? i mean there is a start point from all stats? like haste 3000 or mastery 2000 etc..

surv is not my MS but I'd love it to be.

Having limited AP and keeping in mind the buffs in 7.1 , I wonder if value of Sharpened Fang and My Beloved Monster doesn't warrant picking them up first before Fluffy, go and EotA and Bird of Prey

Thoughts?

Have the 7.1 buffs altered choices or rotation at all that you've noticed?  None of the buffed abilities really feature heavily in the rotation currently, but notably I wonder about Carve being pushed up in AOE, and if the animal instinct redesign might make it viable against throwing axes.  It seems nice, but I worry about any benefit being lost to desynching the cooldowns on Aspect and Snake Hunter.

Trailblazer also seems a bit weak, but in the face of the posthaste nerf (seriously why?  we're already so slow compared to in the past), it seems maybe possibly useful =/

Unless Trailblazer stacks with mount speed it seems like a complete joke, which is not too bad considering it's replacing another joke talent.

The new Animal Instincts mechanic is not in SimCraft yet. Any data/information pertaining to

1) How often it reduces the cooldown of abilities
2) How much it reduces the cooldown
3) If it reduces the cooldown of some ability more and/or more often than others.

would be super useful.

It may be that Raptor Strike actually doing damage now means that there's no penalty for using it on a single target, which will in turn make using it second nature, which in turn will make maintaining Way of the Mok'Nathal something inherent in the rotation, instead of something you have to go out of your way to do. I suspect the difference between Throwing Axes and Way of the Mok'Nathal will be small. I am not yet able to sim it in a desirable way, but I should be able to in a day or two.

trailblazer is actually pretty good for mythic plus content. as survival you are pretty slow when you can not harpoon your way throu stuff so it will help to keep up when you run around with druids and dhs ;)

Warbands are pretty great and solve a lot of issues players have had in previous expansions, but "just" making most things account-wide and offering a separate bank, among other things, wasn't enough!
As MrGM found out, there's a new set of achievements aimed at helping players with alts, as each character you get to level 80 (the new maximum in the expansion) will give you a 5% experience boost for the next characters you level. The  Warband Mentors: The War Within set of achievements even stacks up to 5 times, so each subsequent character you get to 80 will increase the buff, all the way to 25%! The buff is Warband-wide, so any character you level after that will get the buff.

Making it easier to level alts is always a welcome change, and this is really making us love Warbands even more!

Here's another nice addition to the game coming in the new expansion, with some really interesting mole mounts being added! Keyboardturn found all their variations and their mount special animations as well, so let's take a look.
      And here's the mount special:

Unfortunately ground mounts are getting very out-classed with the Dynamic Riding feature, but we're still hoping for that rumored dynamic ground mounts feature! Perhaps these could dig down and move below ground?

Game Director Ion Hazzikostas has confirmed that the Dracthyr race will have more class options in The War Within. However, this feature may not be ready in time for the expansion's launch.
This update was highlighted in a tweet by MrGM, who shared insights from a London content creator interview about the Dracthyr.
The plan is to introduce the ability for Dracthyr to play as other classes in War Within. Emphasis on playing in Visage form. Required animations for other classes are actively being worked on. The implementation is unlikely to happen at launch, but targeted for early in the expansion cycle. Placeholder for tweet 1780748422066188399
