What am i missing here or might this only be a "best practice" Thing, that does not realy increase your DPS?

I just read through all of the artifact traits and found, that at later stages Icy Veins also increases your damage directly.
That explains a lot :)

looking at best in slot, Zelous Tormentor’s ring is listed which I was happy to see drop warforged at 950 the other day (because I knew it was recommended BiS) but after running a sim on raidbots and MrRobot comparing my currently equipped 945 Seal of the Portal Master and Zealous it showed roughly a 2% dps decrease. Any guess as to why? Sim having construed parameters or ? My guess was I believe it put me over the shatter cap so it may not be as beneficial as usual?

The Best in Slot section is very specific in how it is structured, since Frost is a bit strict with when stats start to wane off in power - crit is the most noticeable in this. As you said, it's entirely possible that after cap, Crit weights for you are so low that you simply lose DPS on that ring. Keep it nonetheless, since you can use it in other gear setups.

2: I was happy to see the antorus boss guide for talents, legendaries, etc. but was wondering if you’d reccomend the Journey belt legendary for fights like high command for the stacking blizzard with arctic gale or if mag bracers/exodar are still top priority?

Definitely still Mags/Exodar. Exodar is kind of a must since you can definitely get a double TW and Mags is just too good there with the split-cleave.

also sorry last question: is double ice lancing a thing? I may be crazy and think my dps has been higher but after flurry I’ve been spamming ice lance (sometimes with blink closer towards target) in an attempt to get more ice lances and or FoF to land while winters chill is active or is it limited to a certain amount during winters chill?

No, you can only hit one ice lance reliably now. Due to the changes they made a few patches ago, you're just going to end up missing the proc and losing DPS massively due to unbuffed Lances hitting.

Could it be possible, that my feelings are treating me?

Yes - Haste will always "feel" better, because it makes an actual difference to your gameplay rather than just boosting your damage like Vers does. Listen to your sims, go with what it tells you if you want the DPS increase. If you don't care that much and just like playing with more Haste while losing damage, play with Haste.

Sorry that I didn't catch it, but I'm glad you found your answer :)

Thanks for getting back to me! Glad I finally have some closure on the double ice lancing theory. I’m definitely hanging onto the ring.

Last question in regards to the legendaries/fights. I attempted running ZJourney belt with mags bracers on mythic eonar with my guild this week as opposed to mags/exodar. We’ll definitely be attempting again this week and was wondering if this was optimal? I don’t have Sephuz’s so was hoping to get the most out of aoe? I guess I’m asking what are the best leggo options without sephuz’s? I have most legendaries but not all (missing frozen time and sephuz’s)

Thanks again!

It's one of those horrible scenarios of, with absolutely perfect timing, connection, distance, it's probably still possible, but even then, you'll miss it sometimes due to human error. It's just not worth it anymore.

Shard is tricky on Eonar, simply because the Time Warp uses last far longer than fights, you waste so much of it, etc. etc.

It's really horrible that you're missing Sephuz, it's such a strong one! Hopefully you'll get it soon. If you don't have it, then you can run Shard, Soul of the Archmage or the belt. They all work well, just pick what you feel you can use best. Shard requires very good timing of your TWs (need to practice based on your raid), Archmage is easiest to play for the increase it gives, Belt is solid.

Funny enough, I just got Sephuz today from chest so I can actually use it on M Eonar this week! Thanks again for your feedback

Why does this guide tell you to heavily utilize 2 different talents that are in the same tier, and NEITHER is recommended in the talent guide? Rotation guide and talent guide need to be reviewed against each other please...

Which talents are you talking about? We include all talents with a tick box option so that players that enjoy using that talent know how to use it. Names of talents would be useful for reviewing if there are issues, however.

Hello, in easy mode, it is recommanded to cast blizzard on 4+ target whereas in rotation/cooldown/abilities section it's whenever there are 2+ target. Is that on purpose,i mean,if you are in  "easy mode"  you do not matter of gaining a small amount of cooldown reduction on frost orb?

Also i have a question about procs : will you gain brain freeze when your frostbolt hit the target and deal damage or when your finish your cast?

I think it's just there as an inconsistency - will ask Furty and get it updated if needed.

There's a lot of errors on the Frost Mage guide now, especially concerning spell icons on each tier. Here's hoping that it gets updated as soon as patch 8.0 is out.

This guide will be updated for the release of the pre-patch of Battle for Azeroth in the next few days. We are aiming to have every guide deployed prior to the patch going live.

Please note that a new feedback thread will be created for the new guide, meaning that this one will be archived. Any feedback you have for the new guide should be placed in the new comment thread.

Thank you all for your patience and we are working to get the new guides up as soon as possible.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.
      (Source)
      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale
