What's the priority list when using the Eradication talent? What all should you be casting once you buff the target?

You will want to empower your Immolates using the debuff, otherwise just play as you normally would.

Will we see stat weights anytime soon?  At the moment im being forced to used the ones from noxxic.  I was hoping with the buffs to mastery that mastery stacking would be better.

Stat weights are a bit fluid and player/gear dependent so I've taken them down until we have something reliable to post. Mastery stacking is still a poor choice until you get the T20 4-piece, where it becomes your best stat by a near margin.

Just further to what Furty said above - it's worth using SimC to check your own weights, since they will differ from the general weights as well.

Do you care to explain a little more on Chaos Bolt usage? Do I need to cast it as soon as it's available or do I need to save up 4 shards and then dump them? Does it change with Eradication?

This is discussed in the guide:

  • Maintain eradication as much as possible.
  • If there is a burst window coming up, save shards to ensure maximum burst in a short period (such as the Gul'dan active ability or your personal CDs, such as a trinket or so).
  • If no window is approaching, use CB as the rotation priority describes.

Hope this helps :)

Do you think we can try to maximize mastery against haste/crit since mastery is not full rng anymore ? I know that with the new 4P, it'll be the case but can't we do it right now ?

Also if haste has to be prioritized, is there any cap we have to reach ? I'm currently with nearly 35% haste but would i need to got it up ?

Thanks

3.2. Havoc Usage

Havoc IconHavoc is one of your most important spells. Havoc copies any of your direct spells,

" however, it does not affect the Soul Shard generation of Conflagrate IconConflagrate (i.e you still get 1 Shard). "

Wrong, on both the shard generation and the shard (instead of shard bit) generation.

" Havoc is typically unaffected by range or line of sight requirements"

Wrong.

Also can you please replace the boss examples in the guide with Legion ones? Mentioning Tyrant Velhari from HfC, for example, won't say much to new players.

Of course you can, your damage will just suffer somewhat until the 4-piece is obtained.

Is the medallion better in all fights or would you take a over 900 whispers?

I'm seeing people pair it with whispers if they had erratic metronome before for example.

Gems-Section still suggests to socket int/haste.

Isnt it as follows?

no setbonus: haste only

4set bonus: mastery only

Thanks for reply.

It's coming but it takes a little bit of time, as I have a lot of my plate with the constant updating of the guides themselves due to the ever changing nature of progress (discovering new builds, item interactions, etc.). Usually I get around to the boss specific advice once Mythic progress is over, as I have a much better idea and hundreds of pulls to draw inspiration from rather than just guesses in the dark.

Should we still be using mark of the claw after we obtain our tier 20 4-piece? Or should we switch to hidden satyr at that point? With haste no longer being our top stat I would assume satyr is better. Also I was curious about eradication vs empowered life tap, with our chaos bolts being so much stronger  with our 4 set would eradication now be the better choice for single target dps?

I think Claw is still on top, even with the stat shift - you can test it with https://www.raidbots.com/simbot for your character to be certain, though.

As for the talents, yeah, Eradication would be best for single target, with ELT becoming better with a higher number of targets as you can't maintain the debuff on more targets.

Excellent also I forgot to ask before about enchants. I saw above that we should be using mastery gems with the tier 20 4-piece. Does that apply to enchants and consumables as well?

I went to the raidbots website as you suggested previously and used it to generate stat weights for my character. The results I got prioritizes haste and crit over mastery.  Here is the string https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/report/jG1ZmzhWLzVNTxY7KX4bQz

As this is most definitely not what is suggested in your guide I was hoping to get some insight.

War Within Alpha should be just around the corner! When do we expect the latest expansion testing to start?
If you've been keeping an eye on the World of Warcraft 2024 roadmap, you're likely excited about what's coming up! According to the roadmap, the War Within Alpha is expected to kick off sometime after Patch 10.2.6, which was released two weeks ago, and before the beginning of Season 4.

Typically, a season lasts 22 weeks. Right now, we're in the 20th week of Season 3, with just about two weeks left. Let's break down the hypothetical timeline:
Season 3 Week 20: Week of March 26 Season 3 Week 21: Week of April 2 Season 3 Week 22: Week of April 9 Season 4 Week 1: Week of April 15 This schedule suggests that the War Within Alpha could potentially launch as early as next week or during the week of April 9.
The most recent news from the War Within camp came on March 27, when Blizzard rolled out a fresh encrypted internal build on the WoW Dev CDN. The internal builds are becoming more and more frequent which indicates Blizzard's ramping up to start testing in the very near future.
Placeholder for tweet 1772901807448052151 In the meantime, we encourage you to check out everything coming in the War Within pre-patch that will release 1 month before the actual expansion.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale
