You'll need some form of board presence against bumrushers, you can't allow to coast on hero power alone until turn 5-6 against Zoo Lock, Face Hunter (or any other Aggro deck beside Mage who doesn't give a fuck about what you have on the board and just melts your face). 

 

Not Entomb. It is way too useful to turn your opponent's late-game threats against him. If you really want a big taunt minion, remove Darkshire Alchemist. Or Entomb your opponent's Ancient of War or Tirion Fordring.

 

Holy Nova is better, especially if you manage to have some form of board presence.

thanks for the lengthy and helpful reply,really appreciate it.i dont have sylv so i guess ill run malchazar and hope for something big i guess.Also what i meant was replace hoarders with wild pyro,so wouldnt it help a bit more against aggro

I guess a pyro could work vs. aggro. It doesn't hurt to test it if you want to and, if it is that you find some results with it, make sure to let us know about it! It might help someone else that is looking to make a similar replacement.

Is it really possible to reach legendary with this deck? Cant get past lvl 19. Just getting whiped by aggro's and freezemages. Don't really think this deck is complete at all. Don't know what to add though.

You might want to go for a more expensive variant of the deck if you feel like the deck's missing something. It runs N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Cairne Bloodhoof, Sylvanas Windrunner and Ragnaros the Firelord as late-game power cards. If you have these cards, you can have a look at the deck here.

Hey guys,

First time post here, thanks for putting this deck and guide up! I'm a F2P player and I have been working towards a priest deck for a while and finally put this one together. I've had a tough time with it, got to level 13 on the ladders and then dropped to 15 where I've been stuck.

It seems like I don't have enough early game to handle the aggro face decks but then I also don't have enough staying power to compete with the warrior control or other priest decks.

Loot hoarder and northshire aren't getting the job done and are risky to play early because if they get revived then I'm in trouble. Also if I see a warrior bulking up I don't have enough fire power to take them down before they play their heavy late game minions. Even with death and entomb they overpower me.

Love the guide though and the deck is certainly fun and unique, just wondering on what your thoughts are- I'm not the best at Hearthstone but this deck seems VERY hard to take up to legend rank.

This deck is very midrangey, and should be played accordingly. Don't trade whenever you can against control - go face as well. You could add tech cards, such as Cabal Shadow Priest, Excavated Evil/Holy Nova or Harrison Jones to improve some of your matchups.

This is an unfortunate part of the deck, since its early game revolves around those huge value resurrects (2 mana 4/7). Generally when I play it, I mulligan hard for my big Res targets.
