Pirate Aggro Warrior Standard

Maybe I'm just a noob but why is  Hobart Grapplehammer not part of the pirate warrior meta? I mean it buffs all the cards you have and only costs 2 mana.

Although it's a strong anti-control card because it grants quite a lot of extra damage, it's not as good against aggro and some midrange decks because you will find yourself fighting for board control more often, and since the minions your opponents are going to play have usually somewhat low health value, you should be able to clear them without having to apply the buff from Hobart Grapplehammer.

So, to answer your question - the meta contains too many aggro and midrange decks. Should the meta contain more control decks, Hobart Grapplehammer will likely find his way back to the deck.

While making this deck i found out i need to make a choice between Patches the Pirate and Leeroy Jenkins because of to less dust for both. What card do you suggest to put in the deck and what alternative should i put in for the other? Thanks in advance!

For this deck I would have to say Patches the Pirate. This deck is all about dealing high amounts of damage as fast as possible and Patches offers the fastest of starts, especially if you can hit a N'Zoth's First Mate turn 1. As far as a replacement for Leeroy,  you could pop in a Southsea Captain.  Also note that right now there are more decks that feature Patches than Leeroy and that's counting wild. Hope this helps. :)

Craft Patches the Pirate, and put a Reckless Rocketeer in the deck instead of Leeroy. Same use. You can also try a Spellbreaker to get rid of an annoying taunt.

Now an other question, i don't understand the last part of your advice. Will this deck become wild? because i don't want to make a legend card that will become wild soon.

Thanks!

The last part was me just telling you that right now one is used more than the other in both formats.

Anyways, glad I was able to help. :)

Patches was introduced with Gadgetzan, and will rotate out of standard with the first expansion of 2018. So you will get to use him for about 10 months before he becomes wild only.

Yesterday i started playing this deck, i can't get past rank 18. I often run out of cards and i feel like i trade a lot of minions on the board. Maybe i play not in the right way, does anyone have some advice for me? I thought it could rank up higher than this ;)

Here are the replays from games i lost, maybe you can see what goes wrong:

@K0ffiedrinkerI will look at the first three replays, as three replays are often enough to get a picture.

Replay #1 - You should have played the Golakka Crawler on turn 4 in order to have bigger board. Seeing the druid din't do anything on turn 1 and used hero power on T2 indicates that the druid is playing control, and those don't play any pirates.

Replay #2 - you play so many weapons that you can afford to hit face, and you even should in order to prevent wasting weapon charges, which is what happened here.
You played Golakka Crawler too late again.

Replay #3 - I feel like the mortal strike on T4 was unnecessary. Instead, Bloodsail Corsair + Southsea Deckhand would have left you with a solid weapon, decent board presence and higher damage (as the damage on Tar Creeper wouldn't have "overflowed").
I believe you can see the mistake in play order on turn 5 by yourself.
If the shaman hasn't played a pirate yet, the chance of getting a bonus off the Golakka Crawler is fairly low.
Turn 9, again bad play order. Playing the Golakka Crawler first would have allowed you to play Naga Corsair as well.

Maybe you should try tholwmenos' variation of pirate warrior instead.
