For solo, yes, not for group runs.

Will a guide for the support necromancer be added?

Will ask Deadset to add one. As a quick reference:

  • Helm: Leoric's Crown - roll for 100% affix.
  • Shoulders: Pestilence Defense - roll for max CDR and defensive stats.
  • Neck: Rondal's Locket - roll for max CDR.
  • Chest: Pestilence Robe - defensive stats.
  • Gloves: Gloves of Worship - max CDR.
  • Belt: Vigilante Belt - max CDR.
  • Wrists: Nemesis Bracers - defensive stats.
  • Legs: Captain Crimson's Thrust - defensive stats.
  • Boots: Captain Crimson's Waders - defensive stats.
  • Ring 1: Oculus Ring - max CDR and affix.
  • Ring 2: Lornelle's Sunstone - max CDR and affix.
  • Weapon: Ingeom - max CDR.
  • Off-hand: Stormshield - max CDR.
  • Cube 1: Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander
  • Cube 2: Aquila Cuirass
  • Cube 3: Obsidian Ring of Zodiac

You need absolutely max CDR on every item slot you can. Look for +Gold and Globe pickup radius where you can in secondaries to help your barb. Push for as much defensive stats as you can. For skills:

  • Corpse Lance - Brittle Touch
  • Frailty - Aura of Frailty
  • Blood Rush - Metabolism
  • Death Nova - Blight
  • Devour - Cannibalize
  • Land of the Dead - Frozen Touch
  • Passives - Stand Alone, Life From Death, Blood is Power, Final Service

For gems, run a diamond in your helmet, rubies or diamonds in your normal gear and a Gem of Ease in your weapon. For legendary gems, run Gogok of Swiftness, Gem of Efficacious Toxin and Iceblink.

For playstyle, you need to have as close to 100% uptime on Land of the Dead as possible. You should be constantly using Devour to spawn Health Globes for your Rathma/Barb to pick up. Use Death Nova to keep Land of the Dead ready for use through Obsidian Ring. Always stay close to rares/bosses before moving on to let Frailty kill them. If you aren't killing every boss/rare pack in the chat window, you are playing the build wrong.

All the DPS in the group for speeds will be coming from you, since you are the root of all globes for your Rathma players. If you mess up and don't have LOTD up, you can't spawn globes, so you'll have no DPS from your group.

This response was posted just before Season 12 opened. Now my friends are saying the Witch Dr. LoN-Spirit Barrage build is no longer good for group runs, and that Firebats is now best for group. Is this now true, or does your original response stand? Thank you!

Pretty much any LoN build is now dead due to LoN being severely ignored compared to every other set being buffed.

In this week's Challenge Rift, we're dealing with the new Wizard Hydra set.
      EU Challenge Rift 144
Use Storm Armor and Familiar at the beginning of the rift to buff up.
Black Hole should be used on Elites and to stack up enemies. Teleport around and let HydraArcane Hydras do the work. You always want to have up five hydras.
For the layout and additional tips check out Mnemonic's video below.
      US Challenge Rift 144
At the beginning of the rift, activate your Magic WeaponConduit and Storm ArmorScramble.
Activate Slow TimeTime Warp on Elites. You can use TeleportWormhole twice within a short time frame, so make sure to use that for moving around efficiently.
Black HoleAbsolute Zero should be used to gather up enemies, otherwise, just summon Hydras.
Check out the video below Raxxanterax for more details about this week's Challenge Rift!

The first Challenge Rift of Season 20 has arrived and we have a Barbarian utilizing the new Frenzy set in both regions.
      EU Challenge Rift 143
Activate Battle Rage for more damage and War Cry for more toughness when you enter the rift. Immediately start attacking mobs to get the 5 stacks of Frenzy going. You need to maintain them which is not that hard, just keep attacking. Use Furious Charge to move around. Try to utilize the Shield Pylon from the first floor up to the fourth where the mob type deals less damage.
For the layout and additional tips check out Mnemonic's video below.
      US Challenge Rift 143
The Flavor of Time is going to double the duration of your pylons and Bane of the Powerful provides a damage-increasing buff after killing an elite pack. When killing yellow elites, it means you must defeat all their minions too for it to trigger.
You activate Wrath of the BerserkerInsanity, Threatening ShoutIntimidate, and War CryImpunity all the time. Battle RageBloodshed should be cast just twice because the buff lasts long.
Other than that, you use Furious Charge to move around and fish for Elite packs and keep 10 stacks of Frenzy up.
Check out the video by Raxxanterax for the layout of this week's Challenge Rift.

With the current server issues still affecting EU players, we've put together a quick tutorial on how to start Diablo 3 without ever needing to open the Battle.net client!
As many of you have most likely already noticed, with barely any time left to go until the start of Season 20 in Diablo 3 for EU players, there are currently issues with the Battle.net app for a large number of players, regardless of which game they are hoping to play.
While WoW players can simply boot up using the .exe file in their program files, things are slightly more difficult for Diablo players, as the .exe file will normally just start up the Battle.net app.
To avoid this problem and log into Diablo despite the ongoing issues, follow the steps below:
Create a shortcut to your Diablo .exe file (not the launcher .exe). You should use the 64-bit version in /x64 if you normally use this version. Go into the properties of the shortcut and edit the shortcut target. Add " -launch" to the end of it, including the space at the start, but without quotation marks. Save your changes and use the shortcut - Diablo 3 will start up shortly afterwards. You will need to log in with your account details and, if you have an Authenticator, you will need to enter the code manually. Make sure to double check the region you are logging into with the options menu on the log-in screen. While this method is not perfect, it should get you into the game in time for the new season! There are a few issues that you may run into, which can be solved as follows:
My game is taking too long to load. This is completely normal when booting in this manner, just let the game load up. If it is taking a really long time, you may be trying to start up the wrong version of Diablo (32-bit vs. 64-bit). The 64-bit version can be found in /x64. My game stopped responding. Go into Task Manager and end any Battle.net or Diablo 3 launcher tasks. These cause it to stop working/stop loading. I never downloaded the latest patch. Unfortunately, this method only works if your game is up-to-date. It will not let you into the game if you need to download a patch. Once your game is up and running, make sure to check out our updated class guides for Season 20!
