Akraen, looking at those results again, I believe a regular 574 PBoI works as well, given that you can actually get a solid amount of crit while retaining those levels of haste. Have you done any further math on this? If that is correct then that gives you access to a lot more players capable of trying it out.

I'm too afraid to suggest 574, but that may be true.

 

For 580 the results are clear. Hopefully I have time today to post what it looks like for ilvl 574.

Hey, i have been reading this thread for a while now and i am wondering if you couldnt analyze my character a bit. I feel like i do good dps but that I could still do more, even more when I see a warlock getting 50-75k dps more than me... I know theyre OP but...

Some will say, forget about Bindings and get 6 seconds of everything else.

Some will say, go for AT but if Bindings proc during the AT then /cancelaura it so you don't lose bindings.

 

I disagree with the second group. If bindings refuses to proc, fuck it. That said, my opener procs bindings in the first few seconds 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time, eh, I end up with a bad parse. Shit happens.

If a warlock plays at the same skill as a frost mage then.. yea.. you're gunna get beaten.

 

 

I played perfectly but the locks smashed their keyboard and still did double my dps.

 

Your gear puts you in an unfortunate position. You're way over hit cap even with gemming stamina hybrid gems, which is right but you need to make these changes, and then wait for better optimised items:

 

 

So, Dark Shamans. Your Invocation was pretty low, 72%. You had 66 FoF but fired 70 ice lances. So that's 4 wasted global cooldowns. Your Brain Freeze waste is also pretty steep, 52 gained 45 spent. What I see is you need to work on invocation and managing your proc spells properly. Every global cd counts and every proc wasted is damage wasted.

durrtygoodz I greatly appreciate your help towards the community and it helps us out a lot. However, in the previous comments I'd say, that you used "s**t" a bit too frequently and I edited them out. Please, try to use some synonyms instead.

Well my prediction would be that the gap would be smaller, but it would still be ahead by a bit. If you can present your maths on the 574 I can try it out :P The difference between a 574 and a 580 bindings isn't actually that big that it drastically changes the game.

14242 is just static rating, but it is only 50% haste with frost armour and the 5% raid spell haste buff.

I can't access dropbox from work.

 

I'd never drop enchanting, and don't need to - just with BS you can reach the max LB/NT breakpoint. The spirit isn't that bad at that point, honestly.

Swapped the healer neck in your setup for Ashflare Pendant and used JC gems, gives a handful more haste and a about 1500 more mastery. 

 

I'd probably be more likely to race change Goblin than to drop either of my professions, frankly. Less time consuming.
