Allied Race Requirements Will Stay the Same

It's very silly to pull the "well people paid for the game so they are entitled to everything in it without doing anything" argument. Do you also think that mythic raid gear should be mailed out to everyone who plays the game because technically, they do pay for the game so why should they have to join a guild and fight through mythic? This is an MMO. Sometimes you have to put in some effort to get the reward, forking over the initial asking price and the monthly fee doesn't immediately give you everything in the game. That would be a horribly boring game, wouldn't it?

And yeah, you could say that this is BfA content, but it isn't really. The lightforged, highmountain and nightborne were all introduced in Legion and their stories played out over the course of Legion.

I do hope blizzard stick to their guns on this one and don't break under the pressure. Getting to exalted with these factions really isn't that much to ask and you basically get it automatically by just playing the game. If people really want these allied races so badly that they threaten to quit the game forever if they don't get them then i have to ask why they don't they just get to work and do a couple of WQ's a day and the occasional emissary?

Edit: Oh and as previously mentioned it's not outdated content yet so people are actually complaining about having to do the content later when it is outdated simply because they don't want to do it now when it is current for whatever reason. If a quarter of the time spent crying on the various forums were spent playing the game everyone would have these races by now.

After the expansion launch, yes the grind will indeed be outdated content and yes considering it is advertised as a major BFA feature I see no reason the grind should stay in place after launch other then to protect the ego of those who want to feel superior because they "worked" for it. And mythic raiding isn't a fair comparison because it is not advertised as the main feature of an expansion and in of itself whole different subject. Mind you I have already done this grind on over 12 different characters so in no way would that change remotely benefit me. In this one instance if find the whole "well I did it so you have too as well" does not work, since the fact that they were playable at all before launch is because they were an pre-order incentive. At launch the only people who care are those that feel somehow that the change would somehow invalidate them, which frankly in my opinion is childish.

And it was...by letting you play the races long before release. I don't see how in anyway it would be a detriment to anyone if the requirements for those starting Allied Races were removed.

Neither would it be a detriment to anyone if they just gave you every xmog appearance and mount from any legacy raid prior to BFA, since I mean, its old content.  Why should anyone have to work to receive it?

You are correct it wouldn't, however I don't see how this has anything to do with the current discussion at hand. Again neither of the examples given are major advertised feature of an expansion that is locked be hide an outdated rep grind.

The entire Death Knight class is locked behind a levelling 'grind' from what?  5 expansions ago?

ETA: it has to do with the discussion because I cant believe how ridiculously easy it is to finish the Nightfallen rep and quest chain now, and STILL people are complaining about how it should just be given to them, and its literally still this same expansion.

Tama's Dragonflight Helper is a Weakaura that displays a weekly to-do list in the game and it's been updated for Dragonflight Season 4!
The WeakAura is very useful for keeping track of everything in the game at max level. It shows you a to-do list with the weekly tasks, provides you with the locations of rares, super rares, information about your current Renown standing, and more.

You will find Tama's Dragonflight Helper at wago.io. Please note that you must first download and install WeakAuras 2 to import the string.

Cataclysm's Grim Batol has been added to the Mythic+ Dungeon rotation in The War Within Season 1, and one boss received a brand new model recently on the Alpha.
General Umbriss, the first boss of the dungeon, got a shiny new model, which is quite different from his previous one. Below is a screenshot of the old a new model.

Blizzard have clarified why players are able to get a full Spark of Awakening through the two available Splinters in the first week of Dragonflight Season 4, and it seems it's only for this week and only due to catch-up rules being enabled!
      Splintered Spark (Source)
Just want to confirm this with some details.
Everyone essentially started Season 4 in catch-up mode. Players were able to get 1 Splintered Spark of Awakening from the weekly quest, whether that’s the weekly “Last Hurrah” quest or the PvP weeklies offered by Malicia.
And then you’re able to get another splinter / half-spark from any valid catch-up sources, such as Mythic+, Awakened Raids, and PvP wins.
Next week and thereafter, only one Splintered Spark is obtainable every week. And like Seasons 2 and 3, with the increasing cap on Splintered Sparks per week, and if you ever fall behind you will be able to get Splintered Sparks from any catch-up source.

It seems there may be an easier way to obtain the Tusks of Mannoroth appearance during the Mists of Pandaria Remix event!
The tusks are one of the rarest transmogs in the game currently, even with the recently added Siege of Orgrimmar skip, as their drop rates are VERY low (0.1-0.3%, reportedly). As spotted by MrGM, the new Tusks of Mannoroth are a cosmetic appearance item added in the new limited time event. Now, some have suggested they may just be purchasable from the Bronze vendor (the currency that will drop off of pretty much anything in the event), making them pretty easy to get, but it seems there might be a different way to get them.
It's unclear whether the cosmetic will actually be purchasable or if it will drop somewhere else, but another interesting Mannoroth-related item was added as well, the Bones of Mannoroth, which may be related to the cosmetic.

As you can see the bones are a stackable resource you gain from killing Garrosh, and it's looking like they're a way to guarantee the Tusk appearance with enough kills! Just how many drop is unclear, but assuming you need all 20 for the appearance and that Normal drops 1, Heroic 2 and Mythic 3 bones, it may take at least 7 weeks to get them. Now the number required might be/is likely to be lower than the 20  stack maximum, and we may get more bones per kill.
But even at 7 weeks it's much, much easier to get than the current "hope for 0.3%" in retail, so it's still a pretty good deal! This may or may not upset players that farmed for the tusks for a long time the regular way, but there's a whole lot players that will be thrilled!
The Remix: Mists of Pandaria event starts on May 16th and should last until August 19th.
