Arena Paladin Tier Lists Gadgetzan

Why is antique heal bot so low but the pala healer so high tiered?

Because in arena the stats are more important, than the healing output: Guardian of kings 7 mana 5/6 vs Heal Bot 5 mana 3/3

Where would muster, quartermaster, and aldor peacekeeper fit in here?

They are already in the table.

Blood Sailor slightly underrated(should be above average at least, probably good)

mad scientist is underrated.

dread corsair is super underrated. Terrible? WTF? that's one of the better choices for paladin.

By Blood Sailor, I assume, you mean Bloodsail Raier. Whic get to the good category only, if you already have a weapon. However, without a weapon in your deck, that card is just a 2-3 and there are many better two drops stat-wise.

Mad Scientist is only amazing if you already have a secret in your deck, otherwise it's terrible stats.

Dread corsair again.. IF you have a weapon, it's ok, otherwise it's jsut going to be a 4 mana 3-3 which is Terrible!

Maybe you should also check this topic about how to use and interpret the spreadsheets: http://www.icy-veins.com/hearthstone/arena-tier-lists

Just to add more clarity to the latter two.

Mad Scientist is weakest in Paladin out of all of the classes that have secrets. It cheats out the least Mana for you, since the Secrets cost 1, and the Paladin secrets are on the whole, pretty weak.

Dread Corsair is great in a deck that has 3+ Truesilvers, but otherwise, weapons like Light's Justice or Sword of Justice just turn it into an Ironfur Grizzly, which is reasonably weak card anyway. Not to mention that you must draw it on one of those turns that you have a weapon equipped, or have it sat dead in your hand until you draw a weapon.

Because it's a 3 mana 2/3. You are very unlikely to get value out of it Arena in terms of it buffing a bunch of 1 attack dudes. Not to mention that 1 attack dudes are generally bad cards as well, so you're forced to fill your deck even further with garbage in the hope that you get the dream draw.

Why is enhance-o-mechano so low? And why is sea giant so high? Maybe my matches are from bizzaroland but I have always done better with enhance than sea giant

Sea Giant has synergy with Paladin's hero power, allowing you to play Sea Giant earlier than with any other class.

Enhance-o-Mechano relies on you having somewhat strong minions on board. Having multiple minions on boards usually means that you are winning, making Enhance-o-Mechano a winmore card. In arena, you usually want to have cards that are good when you are behind and Enhance-o-Mechano definitely odes not fall into that category.

Just to add to the above, Sea Giant is great in Arena in every class. It's very realistic to expect to be able to play it for 6-7 Mana, if not even better than that, which makes it an insane card.

Love these tier lists (said it before, but I'll say it again)

I'm not locating Murloc Knight in your common listing nor Cobalt Guardian in the rare listing. Am I missing something?

Murloc Knight is Tier 4 (Above Average) and Cobalt Guardian is Tier 7 (Bad)

Why after playing Arena over 20 times, I have not gotten mage once as a choice, yet 2 out of every 3 times I play paladin, I face a mage?  Doesn't seem very random to me

Actually, one in 3.3 thousand players don't get a certain class as a choice in 20 arena runs. You either were unlucky, or you are simply exaggerating.

      Hello,
Adelante is currently recruiting DPS & Heals, however, all competent players will be considered.  We are a Horde guild on Arthas and our current progression is 10/10H NH 6/7M EN and 3/3H TOV.  As far as classes go we do not have a Moonkin, Mage, Feral Druid, or any type of Monk. We only raid two nights a week, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM Eastern.  Thursday is not considered a raid night, but we will often clear Heroic and Normal on this evening for AP and it is not required. We are pushing progression on Il'gynoth, and look forward to finishing off EN then moving on to Nighthold, we will be intermittently working on Mythic TOV.
From you, we would expect 100% attendance during your trial period; after that, if you cannot make a raid or will be late it is mandatory to keep the raid leader updated.  In order to continue making good progression while raiding only two nights a week, we expect that you know your class inside-out and will research any bosses you are unfamiliar with prior to raids.
If you are interested, please PM me (violentravi#1826) or recruiting officer Sepsis (tuxedomask#1712) in game.  However, if you have time (which goes a long way) for us to give you a real evaluation there is a short forum to fill out linked on our discord: https://discord.gg/JMVuYRW

      Thank you for your consideration

Blizzard have announced that the next Hearthstone year will be called The Year of the Mammoth. Six cards from the Classic set will be moved to a new Hall of Fame set, which can only be played in Wild.
The announcement explains that the new Hall of Fame set will include cards that are currently in the Reward set, but the big news here is the six cards that will be leaving Standard. You can see Blizzard's reasons on the link above, but I've given a few notes in this article. Those cards are shown below.
As well as the removed cards, there will be no adventures in 2017. Instead we will be given three full expansions that will be accompanied by a single-player mission, which will be used to enhance flavour, and offer challenges. This sounds like it will be along the lines of an adventure, but optional. I feel this is a great change, as it hurts nobody.

Azure Drake is simply in too many decks. It is a hard card to nerf without making it weak, but it is pretty much as powerful as a 5-drop can be. Removing this to free up other 5-drops makes sense.

The reasoning for Sylvanas is similar. Blizzard's words make a lot of sense on this one, and also give an insight into the future:
      Blizzard
Similar to Azure Drake, it’s hard to see a card at the six mana cost out-value Sylvanas. In addition, Sylvanas has the most powerful Deathrattle effect in the game—as a comparison, the Priest card Mind Control costs 10 mana. We have exciting Deathrattle build-arounds coming soon, and in combination with Sylvanas, they would be too powerful for Standard. This seems to imply that N'Zoth, the Corruptor will be making a big comeback soon!

I suspect a lot of people will be glad to see the back of Ragnaros. The Random element was often a contentious issue.

The removal of Power Overwhelming is a bit of a surprise, but it seems that it has mainly been nerfed because of its strength in combinaton with cards like Leeroy Jenkins and Faceless Manipulator. I would also assume that Warlock is going to be getting some fun new toys to replace it.

Ice Lance has been removed to remove Freeze Mage and allow new strategies to develop. It is also interesting that Blizzard mention it will allow them to make cards that copy cards. That could also apply to Power Overwhelming, so I would expect something along those lines to be in the next set.

Conceal leaving will make sense to everyone. It allows Gadgetzan Auctioneer to survive as an interesting card, and removes the annoyance of not being able to interact with your opponent.
