Genshin Impact 7.1 Overview of New Weapons in A Requiem for the Underworld

Genshin Impact has released details around the new weapons arriving in version 7.1. “A Rekviem for the Underworld” banner will feature the new 5-star weapons Beyond the Chrysalis and Hymn of the Maelstrom. Check out all the details below to gain an overview of each of the upcoming weapons as well as the materials needed to level them to level 90.

What are the New Weapons Arriving in 7.1?

The two new weapons arriving in the upcoming update are Beyond the Chrysalis (Sword) and Hymn of the Maelstrom (Catalyst). In addition to these new 5-star weapons there will also be a range of new 4-star event weapons. See below a breakdown of these upcoming additions:

• Winters Heavy Heart (4-star, Catalyst) Event Exclusive

During the 7.1 release you can take part in the event Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon which rewards you with an event exclusive sword Silver Light.

Overview of the New Genshin Impact 7.1 Weapons

Beyond the Chrysalis – 5-star Sword

• Base ATK – 674
• CRIT DMG – 44.10%

Refinement – Dance of Wings Unbound

“Each time the equipping character uses their Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, they gain one of the following three effects in sequence:
Winds of Devotion: Increases the equipping character’s CRIT DMG by 56%/72%/88%/ 104%/120% for 10s;
Winds of Defiance: Increases Stellar Swirl reaction DMG dealt by the equipping character by 36%/45%/54%/63%/72% for 10s; and
Winds of Plenty: Regenerates 5/5.5/6/6.5/7 Elemental Energy for the equipping character. Up to 5/5.5/6/6.5/7 Elemental Energy can be regenerated in this way every 4s.
The aforementioned effects are removed and the sequence is reset when the equipping character leaves the field.“

Hymn of the Maelstrom – 5-star Catalyst

• Base ATK – 542
• HP – 66.20%

Refinement – Rondo of Slumber

Increases Healing Bonus by 4%/5%/6%/7%/8%
When performing healing, the equipping character gains the “Tipple of Truth” effect, which increases Max HP by 4%/5%/6%/7%/8% as well as increases the currently active party member’s ATK by 0.4%/0.5%/0.6%/0.7%/0.8% for every 1,000 Max HP the equipping character has over 40,000. A maximum of 8%/10%/12%/14%/16% ATK can be gained in this way. This effect lasts 10s, max 3 stacks.
When a nearby party member triggers a Frozen or Stellar Swirl reaction, the aforementioned Max HP and ATK boosts will be further increased by 75% for the next 5s.
The aforementioned effects can still trigger even when the equipping character is not on the field.
