New leaks for Neverness to Everness may have revealed one of the game’s future map expansions, and honestly, it already looks like the perfect summer update. According to the post, these are in-game assets currently available.

The upcoming area is called Sunni / Sunward Island for now, and it looks like a tropical region inspired by the island setting from the anime Summer Time Rendering. Given how often the game makes references to various anime, it is not impossible. The leaked images were shared by community leakers, who also clarified that these are currently unfinished in-game assets and do not necessarily represent the final version of the area.

A Tropical Island Full of Beaches and Coastal Areas

From the leaked screenshots, the new zone appears to feature:

  • Large beaches
  • Forest and tropical vegetation
  • Coastal roads
  • A lighthouse overlooking the sea
  • Small island buildings and docks
  • What looks like a luxury beach villa

The area also seems separated from the main city, with players potentially traveling there by boat. That does make us wonder if we will get our own boat, especially since NTE already lets us collect cars and other vehicles.

If you look closely in-game right now, you can already spot the island from far away as well.

Players Think the Beach Villa Could Become a New Luxury Property

One detail that immediately caught players’ attention is a huge beachside property visible in the leaked assets. The villa looks massive, with palm trees, ocean views, rocky coastal terrain, and modern luxury beach architecture. Naturally, everyone is already joking that it will probably cost even more than Fenglin Villa, the current most expensive house in the game, at 8 million Fons.

Right now, there is no confirmation that the building is new property, but the theory honestly would make sense.

There is still no information about the version this island could release in, or if it is linked to a summer event. We also do not know if boats or new activities are coming with it, and how large the area really is.

Most players do not expect it to arrive in Version 1.1, but many are already speculating that it could appear sometime during the summer updates, and the timing would definitely fit perfectly!
