Neverness to Everness is getting closer and closer to 1.1, and we already know who the next two characters should be! Although keep in mind that this is leaked information, so it could still change! But according to the latest info, we should get Lacrimosa and Chaos next.
On top of that, we also have a few more leaks already showcasing Lacrimosa’s gameplay, and everything about it is unusual!
Lacrimosa Can Apparently Transform Into Enemy Anomalies
The biggest detail in the new clips is her apparent ability to temporarily transform into enemy anomalies during combat. From the clips shown so far, this does not seem to be just a cosmetic effect. The transformations are linked directly to her kit, and we also know she can turn into a bat and fly outside of combat.
It is still unclear exactly how the system works, but it already makes Lacrimosa quite original.
Two Completely Different Combat Styles
The clip also shows Lacrimosa switching between two different playstyles, with one focusing on close-range combat using a frying pan (yes, a frying pan…). This one also has more aggressive melee attacks and fast movement around enemies. The other playstyle is a ranged one where she manipulates strange red jelly-like projectiles to attack from a distance. Most likely tomato-related jelly.
It honestly looks really fun and original! If you want a more unique gameplay, she might be for you!
Lacrimosa should release during Version 1.1 alongside Chaos, so we should get official information about them soon! As always, leaks like that can still change before the character releases, but so far she definitely looks interesting!
