A very determined player earlier today managed to make it all other way to Liyue without unlocking their starting Anemo Element in Genshin Impact. Through pure stubborn traversial, this player managed to travel way past the Paimon barrier despite technically being locked into a small region as part of the games tutorial.
Under normal circumstances, this would be completely impossible. After completing the early stages of the game, the map expands beyond this small subsection of Mondstadt. The infamous Paimon barrier forces a teleport that prevents players from exploring beyond their intended path.
By constantly relogging, they exploited a brief window that occurs when loading back into the game. For just a couple of seconds after each login, the game allows free movement before the Paimon restriction kicks in. Using this method-over and over again-they were able to inch their way past the barrier and deep into Liyue. Who knows how much of Teyvat this player might explore with this act of resinless behavior.
