Genshin’s 6.0 Update Lets You Spend Time With Columbina

With the launch of Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact is shaking up the way it tells stories and introduces characters. The new “Meeting Points” feature mixes elements of classic Hangout events with open-world exploration, giving players a fresh way to experience the game.

A Better Version of Hangout Events?

According to the latest Special Program, the feature highlights the everyday lives of characters across Teyvat. It lets players share small moments and get to know their favorite characters on a deeper level. Long-time fans may notice it feels familiar, almost like a modern spin on the old Hangout Events.

So what sets the two apart?

Unlike Hangout Events, which require special keys unlocked through Daily Commissions, Meeting Points are available immediately. But the real difference is in the storytelling. Hangouts followed a traditional quest format that often felt isolated from the wider world and its characters.

Meeting Points, by contrast, take a softer, more immersive approach. They’re built directly into exploration, making character interactions feel more natural and connected to Teyvat itself. Instead of wrapping everything up in a single quest, the feature lets players build a deeper bond with their favourite characters over time.

Another significant shift is that Meeting Points provide players with a reason to return to specific locations to catch up with characters. It’s a small detail, but it addresses a long-standing complaint. Players often complained that the world felt static when characters rarely appeared outside scripted quests.

The Traveler’s Tale event is Genshin’s latest solution to this issue. This event becomes permanent with the 6.0 update, so alongside these new Meeting Points, Genshin’s world is sure to become a lot more lively!

Chat With Columbina In The Silvermoon Hall

Meeting Points aren’t just places to spend time with your favorite characters. They’re something you can actually grow alongside them. As you progress through character-related events, you’ll be able to invest Luna Sigils (special resources earned through exploration) into upgrading these Meeting Points. Each upgrade offers its own set of rewards, giving players even more reasons to return.

With the launch of the 6.0 Nod-Krai update, four characters are getting their own Meeting Points: Aino, Flins, Lauma, and… Columbina? Yes, even a Fatui Harbingers is joining the lineup.

The Third Fatui Harbinger, Columbina, even gets her own dedicated space, the Silvermoon Hall. Exploring this area lets players peel back the layers of the enigmatic Damselette, especially when it comes to her ties with the Fatui.

Completing tasks tied to Columbina will also grant players “powerful support for your adventures around Nod-Krai.” What that means is still a mystery, but it’s clear this feature is designed to spark curiosity and keep players invested.
