Exploring new regions in Genshin Impact usually comes with its own compass gadget! This is a tool that points you toward nearby chests, time trials, or other things. But for years, these compasses had a big limitation. They never tracked oculi or revealed every collectible.
That might finally change in Nod-Krai!
New Nod-Krai Compass
According to new leaks, the Nod-Krai Compass will get a huge quality-of-life upgrade compared to past regions. Here is what we know so far:
- The compass will now display all chests, oculi, and challenges in the region.
- It will come with three levels of upgrades:
- Standard compass (like before).
- Displays up to 10 chests, oculi, or challenges at the same time.
- Shows every single chest, oculus, and challenge across Nod-Krai.
If true, this will be a massive time-saver for those who want to complete the 100% exploration, and anyone who does not want to keep switching between the game and interactive maps. It also means that you may not have to craft the stones that usually reveal the nearest Oculi anymore. This would save a lot of mats and farming time.
Keep in mind this is based on leaks, so nothing is final yet. Still, the chances are pretty high that we will see it in the actual game.
