What Even Is Nod-Krai in Genshin Impact?
For those who don’t know, Nod-Krai is the next region of upcoming Version 6.0. While it belongs to the Nation of Cryo, HoYoverse is reportedly treating it as a standalone region, separate from Snezhnaya, which was originally expected to release in 2025.
Players may spend a full year in Nod-Krai before reaching the Tsaritsa’s domain. The area is rumored to be a very important region for the story, and the Harbingers are expected to play a huge role.
Fatui Harbingers in Nod-Krai: Who’s Confirmed & Who’s Rumored?
- Dottore – Confirmed
- Already seen in the official Nod-Krai teaser and mentioned in-game, Dottore is definitely part of the upcoming story. He’s shown leading Fatui forces, and players could encounter him in 6.0 or later updates.
- Sandrone – Rumored
- According to leaks, Sandrone will show up during the 6.X patches. She is expected to be a major villain, with even crueler intentions than Dottore.
- Columbina – Rumored
- Possibly appearing as the Frost Moon Goddess, Columbina could be tied to the Frostmoon Scions, a mysterious faction in Nod-Krai. Her rumored connection to the region’s moon lore makes her presence feel fitting.
Why Are Fatui Harbingers So Important in Nod-Krai
Following Natlan’s events, the Tsaritsa recalled all Fatui Harbingers and reportedly sent several of them to Nod-Krai. This move, echoed in the in-game lore, hints at their direct involvement in whatever will be going down in this region.
The Fatui may not be the only threat, but their influence is growing stronger, and players might face off against some of Teyvat’s most dangerous villains yet.
What’s Next?
Like with Arlecchino‘s slow reveal in Fontaine, HoYoverse may stagger the Harbingers’ appearances throughout Version 6.X. While Dottore could debut early, Columbina and Sandrone may arrive later, depending on how the plot unfolds in Nod-Krai.
These rumors remain unconfirmed, but if accurate, they mark a turning point in Genshin Impact’s story, where long-teased Harbingers finally take the stage.
