This is a slower variant of Finja Midrange Paladin. The deck uses the buff of Bonemare and the cheap Divine Shield of Righteous Protector to allow for more consistency. Those two cards, added in Knights of the Frozen Throne, are powerful in their own right. This build was popularised by MitsuhideHS who piloted it to top 20 Legend.

3. Comments on the Variation

Although having a higher average Mana cost than the original Finja deck, this deck is still capable of being very aggressive, but with the additional benefit of being able to set up giant Taunts against other aggressive decks.

With the additional buffs of Bonemare, there is an additional emphasis on making sure you get a minion to stick to the board. On some occasions this seems very easy and you snowball to victory, but against a wise opponent, and with a somewhat slow start, it can sometimes be harder than it appears to do this. Due to this, you should be careful with your Righteous Protector. Although it will often be correct to play this on curve, it is worth considering holding onto it until it can be buffed. The Divine Shield on the Protector makes it a fantastic buff target, and the 1/1 minion early in the game is good, but not as good as Vilefin Inquisitor for example.

4. Pros and Cons

This version of the deck has access to better value cards than normal Finja Midrange Paladin, which leads to a higher quality deck on average. However, the synergy within the deck is a little worse. The Curator is a very good comeback mechanism in the Finja variant, as it offers both a Taunt, and useful card draw, without the need for a target to be in play. Sometimes with the Mitsuhide variation, you will find that Bonemare gets stranded on its own.

5. Quick Mulligan

You should generally mulligan for the following cards:
