Do Nexus Anima Hide Secret Evolutions?

Honkai: Nexus Anima already has a bunch of colorful creatures, each with their own quirks and charm. But after looking closer at the designs, something interesting stands out. A few Anima look like they could change forms down the line, almost like evolutions waiting to happen.

Could Anima Transform?

Among the official roster, some designs look almost too similar to be a coincidence. One looks like a smaller version of the other, or has traits that feel like a “next stage.” This has people asking: Will Anima actually transform or grow over time?

Eggluv → Eggnok?

Take Eggluv and Eggnok. One is a goofy boxing egg on his feet, and the other looks like the hardened, tougher version. Could Eggluv “evolve” into Eggnok? It feels like the visual hints are right there.

Small Beginnings, Bigger Forms

Another one is Cublade, spotted on Blade’s splash art. It looks tiny and beginner-friendly, almost like a first stage. Nothing official confirms this yet, but it is easy to picture a larger, more powerful form coming later.

Variants From the Same Base

Then there are cases where multiple Anima look like branches of the same base creature:

Apollinis, Vulberry, Felinoxie
Marshalbird and Plumelune

Why Evolutions Would Be Exciting

Nothing is confirmed yet, but imagining possible evolutions makes collecting and battling Anima feel even more exciting. It would give each creature more depth, and give players something to hunt for beyond just filling the roster.
