What Happens Next for the Beta

Sign-ups closed yesterday, on September 12, for PC and iOS. If you registered, keep an eye on your HoYolab account and the email linked to your HoYoverse ID, as that is where invites will show up.

  • The Nexus Bond Test is said to begin on September 17, 2025, at 10:00 UTC+8.
  • Available languages include English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
  • Android is not included in this round, but may be supported in future tests.

If you missed this sign-up period, do not worry too much, because HoYoverse usually runs multiple beta rounds before release, and pre-registration is already available on the official site.

What Kind of Game Is Nexus Anima?

Nexus Anima is a game that mixes monster collecting, auto-battler combat, and open-world exploration. You will be able to capture creatures called Anima, and then place and upgrade them in auto-chess battles. Roles like tank, mage, and support all play a big role, and building synergies is important.

Outside combat, you can explore 81 different planes, solve puzzles, play mini-games, and customize your character. The story tells of a world broken by the Sundering, with each plane ruled by a Sovereign tied to an Aspect.

The Appeal of Nexus Anima

From what we know so far, the combat system feels like Teamfight Tactics with Pokémon flavor, while the exploration side takes notes from Genshin Impact and Infinity Nikki. The overall style is lighthearted and whimsical, but there is plenty of lore under the surface.
