Honkai: Star Rail have released a statement on X regarding the extension of Version 3.8 for around 2 weeks due to the ongoing work around Version 4.0 due to political reasons. As a result of this extension period Hoyo have compensated players who log into the game after 8th December, 2025 with Stellar Jade ×1,000 and Fuel ×10 as an apology. Players have taken this statement well and appriciate the compensation that Hoyo have offered and the new information released around the new area.
What is the New Area in Honkai: Star Rail?
Hoyo have released the new name of the upcoming area in Honkai: Star Rail which will be named Planarcadia.
“The threat of Destruction compelled the cosmos to unite once again, and everyone now looks toward other Aeons involved. The Express once crashed into and departed from “Planarcadia.” There, Aha graced the pursuers of Elation with a reward: join THEIR game and become an “Aeon” for a minute.“
Sneak peak images of the new area Planarcadia have been released to give players a picture of what the area will consist of and the theme around it as well as spead excitment around what’s to come in the near future!
Although the release of 4.0 has been extended Hoyo have provided players with a taste of what is to come and given players something to look forward to.
