Update: Blizzard have now hotfixed the transmog cost reductions and they’re a whopping 90%!
With a hotfix that went live about ten minutes ago, we’ve reduced Transmog outfix and slot gold costs by 90%.

Blizzard dropped a new transmog system in MoP Classic and players were surprised by the high gold costs. There were reports of even one outfit costing around 1.5k gold, and a long thread emerged with players complaining. Blizzard have now announced that they will be reducing those costs soon.
