How to Get the Mount?
Challenge Mode Season 2 starts on December 9 with the arrival of Patch 5.5.3, and with it, Blizzard’s introducing new Platinum Coins earned per dungeon completed if it’s within the Platinum window. Platinum Coins can be turned in for various rewards at Shrine of Seven Starts and Shrine of Two Moons, including the Magic Rooster Egg, which costs 50 coins, which means you will need to run 50 Challenge Mode dungeons within the Plat window to have enough coins, but there’s a one-time bonus for each Challenge Conqueror: Platinum meta achievement as well.
Will the Mount Transfer Over to Retail?
The burning question on everyone’s minds right now is will the mount ever transfer over to retail? While this isn’t intended right now, Blizzard has been sending out surveys to players via mail, asking about what should happen to their MoP Classic characters when the latest Classic chapter ends, and one option included a character transfer option to live, so anything is possible in the future.
