Step 1: Become Hunter Friends
Make it even easier to find your friends in-game by becoming Hunter Friends. This allows you to quickly invite them to Link Parties and other activities. Here is how:
- Access the Member List: From the Start Menu, navigate to Communication > Member List.
- Send an Invite: In the member list, choose a friend and invite them to become Hunter Friends.
- Friend Approval: Ask your friend to accept the invitation by going to Start Menu > Communication > Invitation Notification List.
Once you have connected as Hunter Friends, you will have an easier time locating them in the member list when sending invitations for various multiplayer events.
Step 2: Creating a Private Lobby
To hunt together with friends in a secure and private space, follow these steps:
- Select Your Save Data: When you start the game, select and create a “Private Lobby.”
- Share the Lobby ID: Once your lobby is set up, share the Lobby ID with your friends.
- Joining the Lobby: Ask your friends to search for and join your private lobby using the Lobby ID via the “Search for Lobby” option in the game menu.
Private lobbies are the perfect way to keep things exclusive — only those with the Lobby ID can join. Plus, you can join your friends’ quests easily from the quest counter this way as well.
Additional Notes
- You can also search for either a lobby ID or hunter ID when inviting friends.
- Your Hunter ID can be found by selecting your save data or viewing your hunter profile.
