It’s official – gear sets are coming to New World: Aeternum with the launch of Season 10, and they’re planned to make a BIG impact in combat! Gear sets are powerful new pieces of gear that provide unique bonuses to players after acquiring a certain number of pieces from each set.
For some sets, you may get a specific buff after getting two pieces of the set, which then grows in power after you get 4 pieces, and then again when getting all 6 pieces. In other situations, you may only need 1 piece of a set to get certain bonuses.
The introduction of gear sets in New World: Aeternum drives even further build diversity in the game, and it’s rumored that at least 8 full sets are coming to the game in Season 10 (and more in the future).
How to Get Gear Sets
These ultra rare sets of gear will be earned from pinnacle endgame content: Isle of Night Raid, Catacombs, and the PvP Track. Each of these activities have specific sets that can be gained from doing them, so you may need to grind a specific activity if you’re after specific set pieces!
