The surprises continue to come for New World: Aeternum players, as there’s another major update to the game that was added just 24 hours after they added daggers to the game.
If you played New World before, you likely felt the pain of having to manually search all of your storages for certain materials, and then transporting them either to your inventory or the storage at the town you’re crafting in. That all changes with this update.
Global storage search is now enabled in New World: Aeternum.
This new system provides enhanced crafting and housing experiences with new global storage search functionality, allowing players to locate items across all storage sheds from any crafting station in any territory!
This has been a feature that New World players have been asking for since the game was launched – and finally it’s now live. Sadly, it took so long that it came after the news of the end of New World: Aeternum (with the servers shutting down next year).
Below is an example of how exactly this works. When you visit a crafting station in any town, all of the materials required to do the craft across all of your storages will be selectable, making the overall crafting experience more streamlined (and less annoying).
