The launch of Season 10 of New World: Aeternum came with an all new high-leveled zone known as Nighthaven. This new zone include a handful of new treasures, points of interest, loot, and of course – bosses.
Nighthaven can be a bit overwhelming as it’s arguably the largest zone now within Aeternum, filled with a large range of different types of mobs and bosses. However, only a few of these bosses are actually worth grinding in order to get your hands on some ultra rare loot.
All of these bosses highlighted can be found within the video below. To learn more about each, including their location and potential loot, continue to scroll down.
The Arcanist
This boss quite possibly has some of the rarest drops in the game. The Arcanist is located at the Arcanist’s Hold, which is located in the far left side of the Nighthaven map. The trick behind this boss is that is only spawns every 25 minutes or so, and you must stand outside of this castle and be prepared to enter once the timer hits 0, which triggers this event where the Arcanist spawns.
This boss not only has two elite chests and a tarot card location at where it spawns, but it also has less than a 1% chance of dropping an exclusive set of skins known as the “Mageguard” set. This set is BoE, and can lead to major gold if you get lucky enough to get your hands on a piece of the set!
Uttu
There is a giant spider boss known as Uttu that’s hidden within a spider-filled location within Nighthaven. To be more specific, Uttu is located just south of the “Church of the Last Days” shrine in Nighthaven.
This is a great boss to farm, as it provides you with a chance to get your hands on the new bow artifact called the Contagious Plague. Each time you kill this boss, you get an increased chance of receiving the artifact. After five kills, it’s a guaranteed drop.

The Tower of the Sun Bosses
Located just left of “The Carnival” within Nighthaven is a point of interest known as The Tower of the Sun. At the top of the tower, there are two named mobs that spawn almost every minute. Every time these mobs die, they drop one piece of legendary gear, making it a great spot to farm quick and easy gear!
If you’re looking for some quick gearscore upgrades, then this is the spot to do it. Group up in a raid and then get comfortable as you can kill these mobs very fast and get guaranteed legendary gear every time.
Isle of the Night Raid
The new 10-man raid is known as the “Isle of the Night” raid, and it consisst of three bosses. Each of these bossed have their own, unique “chase” item, which has a 0.5% chance of dropping. These items are extremely rare, and can be sold for a massive profit if you’re lucky enough to get one!
These items include the following:
- Boss #1: Jester Hat Cosmetic
- Boss #2: Spectral Horse Mount (Ghost Skin)
- Boss #3: Spectral Turkey Mount (Ghost Skin)
Good luck out there and start grinding these bosses!
