Even though we don’t have the exact specifics for each of the bulleted items above, we do know enough to get started on a few things that can help you hit the ground running on day 1 of season 10 of New World: Aeternum.
Season 10 Preparation List
To learn more about the many different things you can start doing today to get ready for Season 10 of New World, watch the video below. If you prefer reading about these items, check out the list below!
1.) Well of Fortune Purchases
Every day, you should be visiting the Well of Fortune at Cutlass Keys, and purchasing a handful of specific items. Once a week you should be buying a glittering gold key (for more doubloons), and then every day you should purchase 3 goldcursed epic crates, and 5 gypsum orbs.
By stockpiling these gypsum orbs, you’ll be prepared to make more weapon, armor, and jewelry matrices, allowing you to upgrade future artifacts that will be introduced in season 10 and beyond.
Hang on to those goldcursed epic crates – there’s a small chance they’ll be even more useful once season 10 is live!
2.) Resource Priorities
Start stockpiling and saving all of your resources (especially your prismatic resources), as they will likely be repurposed to help craft future 800 gear score items! Instead of wasting it crafting 725 gearscore items that will be outdated soon keep them in your storage so you’re ready for the gear score increase!
3.) Making Gold
One of the most useful resources in New World is gold – regardless of what build you’re using, you will always have a need for gold to help you purchase anything required for future upgrades (or of course to spend on anything else in the game).
Use these New World gold-making tips to start stocking up so that you have a nice stash of gold once season 10 starts!
4.) Combat Trophies
Season 10 will introduce an all-new zone, as well as a new raid. Currently, the 10-man Gorgon raid is filled with Angry Earth mobs, so a majority of the playerbase has Ultimate Angry Earth Combat Trophies, allowing them to deal more damage to these types of mobs.
However, an all-new zone and raid could introduce new, powerful bosses that are a different type of mob. Instead of waiting to react, consider being proactive and crafting up combat trophies for each type of mob (they’re helpful regardless, so you might as well do it now before the prices spike).
5.) Goldcursed Coconuts
Currently, one of the key ingredients to craft and/or upgrade items to 725 gear score is a Goldcursed Coconut. Instead of using them now to creat 725 gear score items, consider saving them, as there’s a good chance they’ll be used in future crafts and upgrades too in order to obtain 800 gear score items.
6.) Azoth Salt
There have been several hints that the PvP rewards track will be enhanced next season. The primary resource to purchase items on the PvP rewards track is Azoth Salt, so be sure to save up on it, consider hitting the max limit (100k), and even stashing away some Azoth Salt Vials to use once the new rewards are announced!
7.) Vampires & Werewolves…So What?
There have been many, many hints towards the next season being oriented around vampires and werewolves. This likely will just introduce a new twist to the main story quest (MSQ), but some players are making bets that items such as Garlic and Steel Ingots will play a new, important role within the game with the launch of Season 10.
If you’re a fan of gambling (and have the gold to do so), consider purchasing some of these items just in case so that you’re prepared for whatever comes your way.
That covers it! We look forward to seeing you in Aeternum, and stay tuned to learn more about what’s coming in Season 10 of New World: Aeternum!
