One of the most rewarding events throughout Aternum, the Summer Medleyfaire, is officially returning! This event will kick-off with the launch of Season 9 on July 29, 2025, and will continue until October 28, 2025. This event is typically not this long, and it seems like it may be the first time that they’re making an event like this last an entire season! This event provides a handful of limited time activities that players can participate in for exclusive rewards. This on top of all of the other many changes coming to Season 9 will make it a truly busy, fun experience for everyone playing.
What is the Summer Medleyfaire?
The Summer Medleyfaire is an annual New World event that celebrates the sound of music (and fishing) throughout Aeternum! Whether you’re a seasoned bard or simply looking to earn a few Summer Tokens, you’ll be able to perform musical performances in a fun, new way!
The better your performances, the greater your crowd – and the better your chance is at impressing the Medleyfaire vendors with your musical abilities!
Additionally, throughout the event you’ll be able to fish at exclusive Medleyfaire hot spots that have new, unique fish (like the Aeternum Sturgeon)! By catching these unique fish, you’ll be able to exchange them for Summer Tokens and unique materials to even get some fish trophies to decorate your house with!
The Summer Medleyfaire Shop
As you continue to play music and catch fish, you’ll be rewarded with a unique currency known as Summer Tokens. By visiting a Medleyfaire shop, you’ll be able to exchange these Summer Tokens for unique, exclusive rewards, including the following:
- Exclusive cosmetics — themed armor and weapon skins, emotes, and more.
- Event furnishings — bring the Medleyfaire spirit to your home.
- Seasonal consumables — helpful (and sometimes humorous) tools for your adventures.
