It’s official – New World’s Summer Medleyfaire is back, and this time it’s sticking around for a while. The Summer Medleyfaire will be live up until October 28, 2025, giving players several months to grind out seasonal summer tokens and unlock a handful of exclusive rewards.
The Summer Medleyfaire event is pretty in-depth compared to other New World events, and there are a few tips and tricks you’ll want to be aware of while participating.

Getting Started in the Summer Medleyfaire
In order to get started with the Summer Medleyfaire event, you will want to find the flower-like icon on your map, approach the location, and speak with the NPC near the stage. There are a total of 4 of these flower icons scattered throughout the map, and it doesn’t matter which one you go to first.
When you reach this area, you can speak with the NPC which will kick-start a series of event-specific quests. Each quest is pretty straight-forward, where you’ll need to collect some instruments, play a song, catch some fish, and things like that.
By completing each quest, you’ll be awarded some summer tokens and event reputation, allowing you to unlock rewards within the Summer Medleyfaire shop. These quests will also highlight multiple unique ways on how you can earn Summer Tokens, including fishing for Aeternum Sturgeon, or playing music at certain locations.
Helpful Tips & Tricks
If you plan on grinding out this event, chances are high that you’re going to be doing a lot of fishing. Before you start this fishing journey, be sure to respec your attributes to 350 Focus, allowing you to pick up the following bonuses:
- 25 Focus: +5% chance to catch larger fish
- 50 Focus: +3% fishing cast distance
- 100 Focus: +50 encumbrance (allowing you to hold more fish while fishing)
- 150 Focus: -10% in carry weight for fish
- 200 Focus: +15% chance to catch larger fish
- 250 Focus: +20% chance to catch larger fish
- 350 Focus: +10% chance at finding rare items while fishing
Additionally, be sure to purchase several of the “Scaledust Delight” consumables at the Summer Medleyfaire shop and consume one before you start fishing. This consumable will provide +25% fishing XP and improves your Medleyfaire fishing luck for 25 minutes.
Ensuring you take advantage of both of these two tricks will greatly increase the size of the fish you catch, leading to not only more Summer Medleyfaire tokens, but also more fishing experience!
Best Rewards in Summer Medleyfaire
There are MANY rewards within the Summer Medleyfaire shop, ranging from exclusive emotes, skins, materials to craft fishing mementos, and even crafting scrolls! It’s highly recommended to pick-up any skins or emotes that you find interesting, then consider purchasing four of the 715 Gearscore Crafting Scrolls.
These scrolls are GREAT for new (and returning) players, as they provide two amazing perks locked when crafting a 715 Gearscore item. These two perks are Elemental Aversion and Refreshing, which are great for both PvE and PvP content.
