The Last Day of New World: Aeternum

It’s official – the last day of New World: Aeternum will be January 31, 2027. Although the servers will remain playable up until then, there are a lot of important announcements that were recently shared that will impact gameplay and the servers themselves.

Starting on January 15, 2026, New World: Aeternum will officially be taken offline from all platforms, limiting new players from experiencing the game prior to the last day.

Players that have already purchased the game though will be able to continue to log in and play up until the last day. Following that day, players will no longer be able to access the game on any platform.

Additionally, it seems like the in-game store will still be active up until July 20, 2026 for players to purchase Marks of Fortune, although it likely won’t be worth it with the official end date locked in.

Lastly, the team also announced that there will be no new content or further server merges for the remainder of the game’s life. They will continue to monitor bugs and performance to ensure the game runs smoothly, but it’s best to not expect anything new coming to New World.
