Good news, Raiders, ARC Raiders will fully support crossplay and cross-save for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You can go scavenge the Rust Belt solo or with friends, you will all be able to jump in together no matter where everyone’s playing from.
Full Crossplay Between Consoles and PC
Crossplay is enabled between all platforms, so PS5, Xbox, and PC. This means that you can freely team up with friends on different systems. You can toggle crossplay on or off from your in-game Settings. However, for console players, there is a small catch, you can not limit crossplay to consoles only.
That means if you turn crossplay on, PC players will always be able to join as well. If you prefer to stay within your console ecosystem, your only option is to turn crossplay off entirely. Still, with Embark keeping a close eye on fair play, most players will probably want to keep the wider matchmaking pool open.
How Cross-Save Works
On the other side, cross-progression is also confirmed, and it is tied to your Embark ID, so the account you will use to log into the game. As long as you are signed into the same Embark account, you can freely move between platforms and pick up right where you left off.
However, you will still need to own the game on each platform you want to play on. This means buying it multiple times, sadly. But if you do, your character progress, unlocks, and gear will carry over automatically.
On Xbox, ARC Raiders also supports Xbox Play Anywhere, so you can play your Xbox copy on PC or compatible handhelds without buying it twice.
