ARC Raiders has officially released on all platforms! You can get your gear ready and start heading topside as soon as you want to.
The game drops you into a multiplayer extraction adventure set on a ruined future Earth, where humanity is fighting back against a mysterious mechanical threat known as the ARC. You will scavenge, shoot, and survive with your squad as you fight to claim resources, or make a run for it before someone else takes them.
A Successful Launch
It looks like players were more than ready to play! ARC Raiders has been out for less than an hour and already has over 128,000 concurrent players on Steam.
That is a pretty explosive start for the game, and a clear sign people were really excited to head to Speranza.
On top of that, it is also the number one game streamed on Twitch right now, with over 246K viewers!
Xbox Players Can Not Head Topside
The launch did run into some trouble. Xbox players who purchased the Standard Edition can currently not get into the game. Embark did release a message on their Discord server, stating that they are working closely with Xbox to solve the problem, and let everyone in as soon as possible!
So if you are in this situation, hang in tight, Speranza will open soon for you as well!
We will see how things hold up over launch weekend, but so far, ARC Raiders seems to be off to a strong start. You can play the game solo or with friends, and either way it is time to grab your gear, head topside, and see what the surface has in store!
