The good news is that Embark is not letting cheaters ruin your experience. According to recent information shared by various players on social media, if you die due to cheaters or “unfair play,” the developers may refund all your lost items.
It is unclear exactly what counts as “unfair play,” maybe getting killed during an extraction, or other situations beyond your control. Either way, players do not need to panic if a run goes wrong! There is a safety net in place to help you recover in most situations. Of course, do not expect to be refunded for every death! This is only if some unfair/cheating has been detected.
This system shows that Embark is taking player experience and fairness seriously, and that is especially reassuring for a multiplayer game like ARC Raiders, where every mission counts.
