A new piece of concept art for Assassin’s Creed Shadows has appeared online, and it’s got players talking. The artwork shows Naoe, one of the main characters, with a bow on her back. This is surprising because, in the game, she doesn’t use a bow at all. Here’s what we know so far!
Will the Bow Be Added for Naoe?
You can take a look at the concept art on the following images shared by @TheRealZephryss on Twitter/X:

As you can see, Naoe is clearly able to hold and use the bow in this concept art. Players are now wondering if this means that a bow could be added for Naoe in the future. Some believe it might be part of the second DLC (Downloadable Content) for the game.
Ubisoft recently announced the first DLC called Claws of Awaji, where Naoe already gets a new weapon: the Bō staff. Because of this, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they added more weapons for her later. However, it raises another question: do they also plan on adding weapons for Yasuke? This question remains unanswered for the time being, but anything is possible!
Was It Part of the Original Plan?
Another idea is that Ubisoft might have planned for Naoe to use a bow during the early stages of the game. In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Yasuke, the other main character, uses a bow as part of his weapon set. Maybe Ubisoft wanted Naoe to use one too but decided to change it to make her combat style different.
Ubisoft has not confirmed anything yet, but the concept art definitely has people talking. It could mean that we will see Naoe with a bow in future updates or DLCs, or it could just be an idea that was left out during development. For now, we’ll have to wait and see!
