Just when players thought Assassin’s Creed Shadows was completely over, Ubisoft has dropped a massive fall roadmap, and it is full of new upcoming content.

From changes to parkour to new story and even a Nintendo Switch 2 release, the game’s next few months are looking really good!
If you want to check out all the details, you can take a look at the official video Ubisoft released for the occasion.
October 28 – Parkour Update 2 & Corrupted Castles
Ubisoft’s next big update brings Advanced Parkour! This is a new toggle that removes movement restrictions entirely. Players can now perform side and back ejects from any height, grab ledges in more situations, and even pull off manual jumps. On top of that, the directional catch-ledge mechanic is making a comeback as well.
The update also adds Corrupted Castles. This is an Animus-inspired replayable challenge where cleared castles respawn with new enemies and higher-tier rewards. Up to five will appear each season, giving you plenty of reasons to come back to the game at any time.
November 25 – Free Story: “A Puzzlement”
The next story update is also coming. This time, it leans into more humor with a quirky quest where Naoe and Yasuke are learning new skills from each other! Yasuke will finally master stealthy, non-lethal takedowns, and Naoe gets her own version of his powerful war kick.
The quest also hides an ISU-themed puzzle that may answer some mysteries we were still wondering about. Ubisoft also teases a special collaboration releasing the same day, but no details have been shared yet.
December 2 – Coming to Nintendo Switch 2
Assassin’s Creed Shadows finally makes its way to Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2, with all free content and updates as well. The port supports touchscreen navigation for menus, maps, and hideout management, and allows cross-progression through the Ubisoft Connect. The Claws of Awaji expansion will arrive later in 2026.
Ubisoft added that this is not the end! More finishers, special missions, and Animus-themed rewards are planned for the future as well, so stay tuned!
