With Battlefield 6 launching tomorrow, EA is bringing back Twitch Drops to celebrate. You can watch your favorite creators and unlock a full set of unique in-game rewards, from weapon bundles to exclusive skins!
The event runs from October 10 at 8 a.m. PT to October 17 at 11:59 a.m. PT, and all you need to do is link your EA and Twitch accounts before watching.
What Are Twitch Drops
Twitch drops are free and exclusive rewards you can earn by simply watching someone play the game. For the Battlefield 6 Twitch drops, you will have to follow the next steps in order to be able to claim your rewards:
- Sign in or Create an EA account and a Twitch account
- Link your EA account to your Twitch account
- Head to Twitch and watch someone under the Battlefield 6 category with Drops activated (they typically have the “drop” tag on their stream)
- Once completed, head to your drop inventory on Twitch and claim the rewards
- Log into Battlefield 6 and claim the rewards in game as well
Battlefield 6 Twitch Drops and Support a Streamer Event
There are two ways to earn rewards during Battlefield 6’s Launch Twitch Drops:
- Subscribe or Gift a Sub to an eligible Battlefield 6 streamer and you will unlock:
- Versatile Soldier Skin – a woodland-inspired outfit with a classic military look
- BF6 Chat Badge to show off your support directly on Twitch
- Prime and existing recurring subs do not count. Sadly, it needs to be a new or gifted sub during the event.
- Watch and Earn
- You can also grab rewards just by watching any Battlefield 6 stream in the Twitch “Battlefield 6” category
- 1 Hour – Called Shotgun Dog Tag. A sleek, military-themed tag
- 2 Hours – Cyber War Weapon Package. A powerful shotgun kit with close-quarters attachments
- 3 Hours – Green Falcon Vehicle Skin. A clean olive camo skin for your ride
Once you hit the required watch time, your reward will appear in your Twitch Drops Inventory, just make sure to claim it within 24 hours before logging in to Battlefield 6.
EA did already hint that the “Cyber War” weapon pack is particularly great for Assault Class loadouts or as an alternate weapon for any build.
