Borderlands 4 has officially launched on PC, and critics are already impressed. The game currently holds an 84% Metacritic score based on 62 reviews, already surpassing the reception of Borderlands 3.

Reviewers are praising the game’s improvements, gameplay, and story, making it one of the strongest entries in the franchise so far. Of course, the final score will only be decided once user reviews come in, so this can always change. But it is already a strong start, and a much better one than Borderlands 3!

Nvidia Driver Issues Causing Crashes

According to Borderlands 4 Bulleting on Twitter/X, it seems that a lot of players on PC are having a few issues. Despite the positive reception, some players are running into technical problems. The NVIDIA driver 581.29, released to improve performance for Borderlands 4, has reportedly caused crashes for some players.

It is still unclear if all crashes are linked solely to the driver or if other factors are at play. We recommend you to keep your system and drivers updated as you test the game.

Even with some early issues, Borderlands 4’s launch has been really good so far, and fans are excited to start the new adventure. We will have to see how it goes tomorrow, once everyone will be able to play it!
