Gearbox has dropped a new trailer for Borderlands 4, showcasing another one of the game’s playable Vault Hunters: Harlowe, the Gravitar. She is a former Maliwan combat scientist, and brings a unique mix of crowd control, elemental damage, and defensive support to the fight!
You can watch the trailer here:
Who is Harlowe
Harlowe is driven by a relentless curiosity for how things work, and she brings that same energy into combat. Using science as a new way to fight, she can:
- Wipe out groups of enemies with powerful Cryo and Radiation blasts.
- Lock down foes using stasis-based crowd control.
- Support her co-op allies with shields and area protection.
Her kit makes her one of the most versatile Vault Hunters revealed so far! She is equally capable of going full offense or playing a tactical support role.
Harlowe’s Action Skills
Here is a small overview of her abilities:
- Chroma Accelerator
Fire an Unstable Energy Pocket that passes through enemies, dealing Cryo damage along the way. Tap the skill again to detonate it in a massive Radiation explosion. - Zero-Point
Use Harlowe’s HALO Accelerator to place an enemy in stasis for 10 seconds. Immune enemies take direct damage instead. Tap the skill again to slam the target into the ground, creating an explosion on impact. - Flux Generator
Deploys an Energy Field that entangles enemies and deals Cryo damage over time. Allies inside the field gain a shield, and the generator can be picked up and tossed again for repositioning.
Between her area-of-effect destruction and protective support abilities, Harlowe looks like she can control and destroy! She is the kind of Vault Hunter who can hold down a fight, protect her squad, and tear through enemies. Players are already calling her a strong contender for one of the most fun co-op builds in the game!
