The moment Marvel Rivals fans have been waiting for is finally here. We’ve gotten our first official look at the game’s newest Duelist, Elsa Bloodstone. This expert monster hunter is set to join the roster alongside Deadpool when Season 6.5 launches February 13.
Elsa Bloodstone Blasts Into Marvel Rivals
Over the past few seasons, Marvel Rivals has introduced some absolutely wild kits, especially with Deadpool shaking up the meta. That’s why Elsa Bloodstone feels like a refreshing change of pace for Marvel Rivals. Her toolkit is more straightforward, but no less deadly.
From what we’ve seen so far, Elsa wields two primary weapons: a compact double-barreled shotgun for close encounters and a long-range elephant gun built for devastating single shots. Based on her gameplay trailer, Elsa can chain abilities together, allowing her unleash a single powerful elephant gun blast, rewarding precise timing and smart positioning.
This design pushes Elsa players to bait and trap enemies, darting in and out of combat by chaining her mobility skills. But her kit doesn’t stop there. Elsa grows stronger the longer she survives in a fight. By dealing damage and securing takedowns, she reduces her cooldowns, though that momentum is lost the moment she’s KO’d. It’s a high-risk, high-reward playstyle that favors aggressive players who can consistently execute her flashy combos.
The Hunt Begins

Compared to the dense, ability-heavy kits of heroes like Deadpool or Rogue, Elsa Bloodstone is one of the easiest characters to understand at first glance. Still, that simplicity raises a bigger question: Is this enough to keep Marvel Rivals competitive as Overwatch regains momentum?
With Blizzard confirming five of the ten promised heroes coming to Overwatch this year, pressure is mounting. While Marvel Rivals has maintained interest thanks to its fast development cycle and steady two-hero seasonal drops, Season 6.5 could be a turning point. Will Elsa Bloodstone be enough to keep players invested, or is this the first sign of a potential slowdown?
