Battlefield 6 Open Beta

Battlefield 6 Open Beta is currently ongoing, and it’s already doing exceptionally well with over 300,000 concurrent players, and many more are waiting in server queues on day one. However, there’s just one problem, and that is hackers. Cheaters have already made their way to Battlefield 6 Open Beta, despite EA having a Secure Boot requirement in place.

A Twitter/X user, @ItsHapa, recently posted a video showcasing a cheating software successfully working in the open beta version of Battlefield 6. The cheating software allowed the player to see the location of allies and enemies from anywhere on the map.

Cheaters Are Running Rampant In Battlefield 6 Open Beta

Battlefield 6 isn’t even out yet, and cheaters are already here in the open beta version of the game. Note that Battlefield 6 Open Beta doesn’t require Anti-Cheat, unlike the main game, but still has a requirement for Secure Boot to be able to run on a PC. However, it appears that these requirements aren’t doing much in the way of stopping these cheaters.

It’s not entirely hopeless. Hopefully, the devs will use the data collected from these cheaters to prevent most of them from ruining the main game when it comes out. But for now, we can only hope for the best.

And it’s not just one clip; another video was uploaded on YouTube, which showcased a hacker using multiple cheats, such as wall hack and auto-aim, in Battlefield 6 Open Beta.

Regardless, it shows that no matter what restrictions are in place, cheaters will find a way to mess with games, and they’ll do it quite fast as well.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta will start on August 7 in Early Access, and on August 9 to August 10 for all other players in Weekend 1. Weekend 2 will begin on August 14 and will end on August 17.
