The first closed beta test (CBT) is now officially completed for Chrono Odyssey, and it’s fair to say that the overall reaction to this build of the game is mixed. Some players are already obsessed, while others are demanding some major changes prior to the official launch. Regardless though, I think it’s safe to say that most players that jumped in and played the CBT had a good time.
While some players focused on crafting the best weapons, or finding the fastest ways to level, others went exploring (but at a whole new level Within the CBT, players were restricted within one specific region of the map, where a large, dark border prevented them from moving to any other areas.
That didn’t stop some players though – after a handful of unique, creative attempts, some players were able to make it across the “out of bounds” area and witnessed some new, exciting areas that were still in development.
Luckily for us, many of these scenic views were captured and shared on the official Chrono Odyssey Reddit, and can be found below.
Please note: These areas were not intended to be seen by players at this time. Many of these images and areas you see below will likely change and/or be altered before it’s available to players in future tests.

These players took exploration to a whole new level, and were able to share a quick preview of some of the other regions throughout the world of Setera. More and more images are popping up hourly from other brave adventurers, with some referencing open fields that were flooded with enormous, stone giants, and even new 5-man dungeons that made the previous ones seem like a walk in the park.
