Crimson Desert will finally launch in just a few days, and the developers have also recently shared the full global release schedule with all the details on when you can start preloading the game.
The open-world action adventure launches worldwide on March 19, but because the release happens at the same moment globally, the exact unlock time depends on where you live.
If you pre-ordered the game digitally, you can download it ahead of launch so that everything is ready once the servers open.
Crimson Desert Preload Details
Players who pre-ordered the game on PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Microsoft Store, or Steam can start preloading the game 48 hours before launch.
That means:
- Regions unlocking on March 19 can preload starting March 17
- Regions unlocking on March 20 can preload starting March 18
Preloading is definitely worth doing if you plan to jump in right away. The game is fairly large, so downloading it early means you can start playing immediately once it unlocks.
