There have been a ton of huge announcements at this year’s Skulls 2026, including the new Skitarii class coming to Darktide. But one of the other big announcements this year is that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV finally dropped not only its release date but also its post-launch roadmap!
Dawn of War IV Release Date
Dawn of War IV will be released September 17th, 2026, with 4 campaigns at launch. However, by preordering right now, you can save 10%. In addition, they also announced the Commander Edition, which comes with the Year 1 Expansion pass, which includes:
- 3-day Early Unlock
- Blood Ravens Story Prologue
- AFTERMATH: Campaign Expansion + New Faction
- Soundtrack
The base game promises 70+ campaign missions as well as the replayable Last Stand, Skirmish, and multiplayer modes. Plus, during Skulls, they also announced that the fan favorite Crusade mode is returning.
Post-Launch Roadmap
But that’s not all. Dawn of War IV also dropped a future content roadmap. This roadmap promises four separate map packs, Crusade mode, a mission editor, and the addition of Lord Ahmnok and Guzcutta to Last Stand & Crusade.
