ARC Raiders’ last Server Slam was a massive success, and the devs shared a recap of the community stats during that test! Among everything, there is one number that stood out, and that is the fact only 77 Queens were defeated.
A Dangerous Queen
The Queen is the game’s toughest and most dangerous ARC boss, and it apparently left most players in ruins. With over 30 million rounds played and 58 million ARCs destroyed, that tiny number shows just how few teams managed to take her down during the test.
It might be the biggest testament to her brutal strength, or simply that players did not seek her out. Either way, it is a number that perfectly captures how dangerous the wastelands of ARC Raiders can be.
Other highlights from the Server Slam include:
- 2.3 million players knocked down by the Rocketeer, who was the deadliest ARC of the test.
- 816,000 rubber ducks collected (because priorities).
- 96,000 recorders found, and even better, 2,669 Raiders knocked down while playing them.
What the Devs Learned From the Test
In a message to players, Embark Studios thanked everyone who participated, and confirmed the event was really important for stress-testing systems and gathering a lot of feedback.
“We designed the Server Slam to stress-test our systems and collect real-world feedback, and you delivered,” the team said. “We’re working around the clock to implement fixes and tune the game for launch.”
The studio also shared a few important takeaways:
- Stability fixes across all platforms are already in place, with more improvements coming for launch.
- Flying ARCs’ awareness was toned down. It turns out they could see through trees and bushes, and that made fights unfairly difficult.
- The Dam Tower in Dam Battlegrounds was too easy to access and has been rebalanced.
- Visual settings have been adjusted to better balance performance and graphics.
Beyond these adjustments, Embark also confirmed that community data helped fine-tune combat balance and fix multiple bugs ahead of release.
What Is Happening Next
With the full launch just around the corner on October 30, the ARC Raiders team is now focused on polishing the final build. “We’re spending these final days putting the finishing touches on the game,” the studio said. “See you topside again soon!“
