If you finished Death Stranding 2 and closed the game as soon as the credits rolled… you might want to load it back up.
There is no alternate ending or hidden finale, but there is a short post-credits scene you can easily miss if you walk away too soon.
What Happens in the Scene
- We see a more grown-up Tomorrow/Louise
- She is now wearing full porter gear
- She also inherited Fragile’s creepy second set of hands – and even her smoking habit
It is a short, quiet moment, but it hits rather deep. It feels like a subtle handoff, with Lou stepping into something that connects her to both Sam and Fragile.
So, Is It a Secret Ending?
Not really. It does not change the ending or alter the story. But it does give a bit of extra closure, especially if you were curious what happens to Lou after the main events.
If you left during the credits, you would not have seen it. So yes, it is easy to miss – but it is not locked behind gameplay or hidden choices.
This is also not the first time Kojima leaves a quiet reward for those who stick around. Although it is not a “secret ending,” the tone and symbolism are worth catching if you care about Lou’s story.
