Dune: Awakening, the open-world survival MMO set in the Dune universe, is almost here! If you’re excited to jump in early, here’s everything you need to know: global early access times, how to play early, and how to get free rewards with Twitch Drops.
Global Early Access Release Times
Players who pre-ordered the higher-tier editions of Dune: Awakening will get up to 5 days of early access. Here are the early access launch times worldwide:
- Los Angeles – 7:00 AM PDT
- Mexico City – 8:00 AM CST
- Chicago – 9:00 AM CDT
- New York – 10:00 AM EDT
- Santiogo – 10:00 AM CLT
- Sao Paulo – 11:00 AM BRT
- London – 15:00 BST
- Berlin/Paris – 16:00 CEST
- Dubai – 18:00 GST
- Beijing – 22:00 CST
- Seoul – 23:00 KST
- Tokyo – 23:00 JST
- Sydney – June 6/ June 11 00:00 AEST

Twitch Drops – Free In-Game Rewards
Funcom is also launching Twitch Drops alongside early access! By watching Dune: Awakening streams on Twitch, you can earn free in-game items for your base. The drops are available from June 5th to June 24th, 2025.
Here’s how it works:
- Link your Twitch and Funcom accounts.
- Watch any participating streamer with Twitch Drops enabled.
- Earn rewards after watching for set periods:
- 30 min for the Observer Foundation
- 1h for the Observer Floor
- 2h for the Observer Wall
- Claim your rewards on the Twitch Drops page, and they’ll show up in-game.
Note that it can sometimes take up to 24 to 48 hours for the Twitch Drops to appear in your game. The rewards include three special items that help you build your base. These items give you access to more building options right from the start of the game, making it easier to set up your base the way you want.
