Chief Rebel have finally announced their new ranged DPS hero for Fellowship, Elarion. Rumored as ‘Bowguy’ by the community for some time, Elarion was confirmed available to play with Fellowship’s launch into Early Access via the trailer and from the Supporter Packs on Steam.
Today they released the new Hero Spotlight trailer for Elarion, giving us a first look at his gameplay and playstyle.
In the video, can see that Elarion is a celestial archer who unleashes barrages and charged attacks with his bow. Despite his abilities being casts, he has high mobility due to the fact he can move and even dodge roll while charging his shots.
This is the most mobility we’ve seen on a ranged DPS, unlike the current spellcasters Rime and Ardeos who are locked in place to do damage. Hopefully this will add a new dynamic to the DPS classes through Elarion’s freedom of movement

This marks the full roster for Early Access as two Tanks, two Healers and five DPS – Three ranged including Elarion and two melees. You can check out these heroes here.
In various official livestreams from Chief Rebel, a new tank was highlighted as possibly next on the list to join the roster, but no information about the tank or how it would play has been confirmed.
