Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a free-to-play RPG that has been around since 2015. However, the developers have finally decided to shut the game down for good. The Japanese version of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will end service on October 31, 2025.

Note that the Global/English version of the game had already shut down last year. After the service ends for the Japanese version, the devs are also planning to release a “Memorial Edition” in the future that will let the players see their units and vision cards. You will be able to download the Memorial Edition via Google Play on Android and the App Store on iOS.

The Grand Finale Campaign For Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

Before the end of service, the developers will hold a “Grand Finale Campaign,” as mentioned on the Twitter/X post by the official FFBE JP account. Players will be able to experience in-game events such as the final chapter of the 5th season alongside an epilogue for the title until the end of service on October 31, 2025.

The Grand Finale Campaign begins on August 25 and will last until October 31. More information about the Memorial Edition will be revealed later. But for now, the release date for it is mentioned on the notice to be October 31, the same day the game ends its support.

In their notice, the management team thanked all the players for their support over the past 10 years.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius was developed by Alim and published by Square Enix. The game was released on October 22, 2015, in Japan. A year later, the Global version was released on June 29, 2016. It was only a matter of time for the Japanese version of the game to shut down after the Global version ended its service in October 2024.
